Amazon Teacher Favorites

As a teacher we wear many hats. There are many tasks that need to be done. Students who need our attention. Most importantly, learning that needs to take place.

My mind is constantly racing, trying to think of any items that would help me in the classroom so that I can place all my attention on my students and their learning. There are many items that I have tried to use... some have worked great and others...well, I may not use some anymore. Here are a few of my favorite Amazon products that have made my classroom run so much smoother!

Doorbell

The doorbell is a LIFESAVER! Whether you choose to use it for transitions or an attention getter, the doorbell will surely save your voice and your patience! You can purchase a hand sanitizer holder to attach the doorbell to your lanyard. This is a great way to keep it with you at all times.

10 Drawer Cart

The 10 Drawer Cart has changed the organizational game in my classroom. It is so nice knowing where all my documents are and having everything at easy reach. I added the labels from Bethany Barr Education, and they definitely add a splash of color to my classroom!

Teacher Toolbox

When I first began teaching, I organized my office supplies in a bunch of little tins on my desk and shelves around it. The toolbox was an organizational lifesaver! Now in one container behind my desk I have all of my supplies nicely organized and at a simple reach.

Presentation Clicker

I HATE being attached to my computer and want to be able to wander the classroom. However, I use slides every day! This presentation clicker was one of my FAVORITE classroom purchases. It fits easily in my hand and the clip allows me to attach it to my lanyard for easy access!

Pencil Jars

I HATE hearing the pencil sharpener run during class! These simple and sleek bins have been a game changer for me this year. My students appreciate that there is always a pencil available, and I appreciate not hearing the pencil sharpener running! One student is responsible for sharpening all the pencils in the morning and then it is quiet for the remainder of the day!

Magnetic Bar

These magnetic towel bars are the perfect way to display your classroom learning targets. I love this item so much that I have already ordered another one for my math learning targets. I simply print and laminate my learning targets and hang them together with binder rings. Each day I simply flip the papers until I have the correct learning target!

Mouse and Mouse Pad

When I am grading, creating worksheets, or adding things to my Google Classroom I HATE using my keypad. It seems to always take longer and I don't feel that I have as much control. Once I purchased my mouse and mouse pad my work has gone so much smoother.

Magnetic Pencil Holder

I hate searching for the expo markers I need and trying to keep my students from messing with the markers resting on the whiteboard tray. The magnetic pencil holder has kept all of my markers in one location and is an easy way to keep my kiddos from messing with them.

Check In Magnets

When I first started teaching I immediately grabbed this magnetic board from IKEA because I KNEW I would use it in my classroom. Over the years, the way I have used it has changed. I started using it to track my students locations when they left my classroom but this year I started using it to do a check in with my students each morning. I purchased the colorful magnets from Amazon and they were a fun pop of color. Each magnet has a number on the back and each of my students have their own!

Paper Mate Pens

PAPER MATE PENS!!! I feel like a lot of teachers will understand this one. I use Paper Mate pens every single day and they are by far my choice of writing utensil. I love how smooth they write and the fun colors that they come in!

Amazon is definitely my go to place to shop all things school. These are a few of my favorite items that have been purchased for my classroom throughout my first five years. I have many things still in my cart and a few that have already been ordered. Stay tuned to see if any items get added to my Amazon Favorites List!
